Wartime Veteran’s Survivors Grant Program

Annual grant available to children and spouses of combat veterans whose deaths or injuries resulted from combat action, were attributed to an illness contracted while serving in combat, or who became 80% disabled as a result of injuries sustained in combat since September 11, 2001. Limited to 25 recipients per year. Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully present; enrolled half-time at a participating Missouri public college/university; veteran's spouse (at time of death/injury or within 5 years) or child under age 25 who was dependent at the time of death/injury. Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
