Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants

Federal Student Aid

Available for undergraduate, post-baccalaureate or graduate students who are or will be taking coursework necessary to become elementary or secondary teachers. Recipients must agree to serve as a full-time teacher in a high-need field at a low-income school for four years within eight years of completing their academic program. Eligibility: Must attend a participating college, meet certain academic achievement requirements, and commit to teaching service in high-need fields such as bilingual education, foreign language, mathematics, reading specialist, science, or special education.
