Rural Osteopathic Medicine Scholarship (OSTEO)

A scholarship program that provides rural practice loans during medical school, which recipients convert to scholarship grants by practicing full-time primary care medicine in a rural community in Arkansas. Eligibility: Must be a bona fide resident of Arkansas and apply to or be enrolled in good standing in a medical school in Arkansas in studies leading to the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Must maintain good academic standing and make satisfactory progress toward timely completion of the curriculum.
