NWT Student Financial Assistance Program

Financial assistance program for eligible NWT residents pursuing part-time or full-time post-secondary education. Funding may include a basic grant for tuition/fees, books and travel costs; a supplementary grant or forgivable loan for monthly living costs based on family size; a repayable loan of up to $1,400/month depending on need; grants for students with disabilities (up to $4,000 and up to $20,000 per academic year); and course reimbursement of up to $880 per course with a lifetime limit of $8,800.
