Near Completer Grant

Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC)

Provides financial assistance to Maryland residents who previously enrolled in a degree program but did not complete it and now plan to re-enroll. Award is applied towards tuition only, after all non-loan aid has been applied. Eligibility: Must have previously attended a community college (45+ credit hours) or senior higher education institution (90+ credits toward bachelor's), minimum GPA of 2.0, Maryland resident eligible for in-state tuition, not currently enrolled at any post-secondary institution. Awards given on first-come, first-served basis.
