LIFE Scholarship Education Enhancement

Available to qualified students majoring in an education-related field who are recipients of the base LIFE Scholarship and agree to teach in a South Carolina public elementary or secondary school. Eligibility: Must be a recipient of the base LIFE Scholarship for the current year, have completed at least two semesters after high school graduation and be in sophomore, junior or senior year, major in an eligible education-related field (including Language/Literatures/Cultures with PK-12 Teacher Certification concentration, Dance, Art Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Middle Level Education, Physical Education, Special Education, Music Education - Instrumental, or Music Education - Choral), and complete a LIFE Scholarship Enhancement Agreement each year agreeing to teach in a South Carolina public elementary or secondary school. Failure to fulfill the teaching requirement results in repayment of all funds received.
