University of South Carolina
A program awarding at least $5,000 per year for four years to eligible first-generation college students from South Carolina. The award increases if combined with other grants and scholarships to cover the cost of undergraduate tuition, technology fee, and average program fees. Eligibility: South Carolina resident; first-generation college student (neither parent completed a four-year degree); admitted to USC Columbia as a first-time, full-time freshman in fall; pursuing a bachelor's degree; eligible for Federal Pell Grant; SAI of -1500 or less; household income not greater than 150% of HHS Poverty Guidelines; applies for admission by Dec. 1; submits FAFSA when available.
