Excelsior Scholarship Program
New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC)
Full-tuition scholarship for students continuously enrolled full-time in at least 12 credits per term at a SUNY or CUNY college, requiring completion of at least 30 credits each year. Allowable interruptions include death of an immediate family member, active military duty, parental leave, medical conditions, and caring for a sick family member. Eligibility: Must be continuously enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits per term) at a SUNY or CUNY college and complete at least 30 credits each year in program of study. Credit requirements vary by program length: 15 credits/term for standard programs, 12 for Opportunity Programs.
