Excelsior Scholarship Program

Tuition-free award for students attending SUNY or CUNY colleges who are NYS residents with household federal adjusted gross income not exceeding $125,000 and complete 30 credits per year in their program of study. Eligibility: Must be a NYS resident (U.S. citizen, qualified paroled refugee, or permanent resident alien) who resided in NY for 12 continuous months prior to the term; household AGI must not exceed $125,000; must complete 30 credits per year (or 24 if in an approved opportunity program like HEOP, EOP, SEEK, CD); students may receive up to eight full-time semesters (ten for ADA/opp program students).
