Award for First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Inuit, or Métis residents of British Columbia pursuing Master's or Doctoral degrees at BC public or Indigenous post-secondary institutions. Course must be no less than two semesters and student must be registered full-time. Eligibility: Must be First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Inuit, or Métis; BC resident for at least 12 consecutive months prior to enrollment; Canadian citizen, permanent resident, convention refugee, or protected person; studying full-time at a BC public post-secondary institution or Indigenous post-secondary institution; course of study no less than two semesters commencing between May 1, 2026 and April 30, 2027. Previous recipients may renew for up to four additional years (Master's) or five additional years (Doctoral). Past recipients completing programs after one additional term are eligible for partial renewals at half the total award amount.
