Award: $4,000–$12,000
AMVETS offers scholarships/grants to U.S. Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves, their spouses/widows, children, and grandchildren. The AMVETS + WD40 Company Veteran Scholarship Program supports entry or advancement in Construction Skilled Trades Industries, with two $12,000 scholarships for veterans/active duty/National Guard/Reserves, annual $4,000 scholarships for veterans/active duty/National Guard/Reserves, $4,000 for spouses/widows, and $4,000 for children/grandchildren. The awards are designed to fill a financial gap after available Federal/State grants or scholarships have been exhausted.
