A+ Scholarship Program
Missouri Department of Higher Education & Water (MDHEWD)
Merit-based scholarship that provides tuition reimbursement to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend participating public community colleges or vocational/technical schools, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools. Eligibility: Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident; graduate from A+ designated high school with unweighted GPA of 2.5+ and 95% attendance; complete 50 hours of unpaid tutoring/mentoring (up to 25% job shadowing); score proficient/advanced on Algebra I EOC exam (or meet Pre-ACT/ACT math subscore + GPA scale for 2018+ seniors); enroll full-time at participating school; maintain 2.0 CGPA as initial student and 2.5 CGPA as renewal student; complete 12 semester credit hours per term.
