2026 HGD Law Scholarship Essay Contest: Voices of the Next Generation

The third annual HGD Law Scholarship Essay Contest invites high school seniors in Jefferson, St. Clair, and Shelby counties, Alabama to submit a 750–1,000 word essay about an issue worth addressing for their generation. First place wins $2,500, second place wins $1,000, and third place wins $500; funds are paid directly to the student's college or university for tuition, books, and other required educational expenses.
