To support professional chefs who wished to continue education or initial certification class. Qualifications: For initial certification, applicants must pass an initial ACF certification class with a "C" grade or better; for continuing education, must be certified by the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Chef d' Cuisine or higher; enrolled in a state-accredited educational institution for the purpose of enhancing culinary skills or knowledge; an active member of the American Culinary Federation in good standing for three or more years. Selection criteria: Selection shall be based on the aforementioned state-accredited qualifications and compliance with the application details. How to apply: The application must be completed and signed by applicants; verification of registration to the professional development course must be submitted, along with total cost of class; will be notified by mail of any grant award or denial. Focus: Culinary arts.
