To provide financial assistance to individuals interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or an engineering program with an emphasis in welding. Qualifications: Applicants must compete in the National Skills USA Competition for welding and advance to the AWS Weld Trials at the AWS International Welding and Fabricating Exposition and Convention.
