AORN Academic Scholarships
Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses
To support students who are pursuing a career in perioperative nursing; and to support registered nurses who are continuing their education in perioperative nursing by pursuing a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree. Qualifications: Applicants must be a nursing students (applicant must be in an accredited program leading to initial licensure as an RN), baccalaureate, master, and doctoral candidates with a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher; applicant must possess an interest in the field of perioperative/surgical nursing; interest and/or experience must be clearly demonstrated in the personal statement; AORN Staff, AORN Board of Directors, scholarship committee members and AORN Foundation Board of Trustees are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academics/transcripts, essay, financial need, and accurate completion of the scholarship application.
