Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library
Award: $3,000–$13,650
To support students who wish to use Beinecke collections as a primary resource for their dissertations or culminating projects. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on a competitive basis. How to apply: Applicants must submit the following materials to the Director of the Beinecke Library; an application form; curriculum vitae; a maximum of 1,200 words proposal explaining in detail the specific relationship between the Beinecke Collection and the applicant's research; a detailed list of specific research materials to be consulted at Beinecke during the fellowship; two confidential letters of recommendation sent to the Beinecke Director, one of which must come from the principal director of the applicant's dissertation or culminating project; for graduate students, approved or pending prospectus; for professional school students, a statement explaining how their project fulfills the culminating requirement in their school.
