To assist Coast Guard members and their dependents in pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be dependent children of enlisted men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard on active duty, retired or deceased, and dependent children of enlisted personnel in the Coast Guard Reserve currently on extended active duty 180 days or more; must be applying to and currently attending college. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on scholastic promise, motivation, moral character, leadership qualities and good citizenship.
