To enable talented, driven, and adventurous young Americans to have a life-changing international experience and succeed in the international hospitality field. Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years old but not older than 35 having an offer of training/work contract from an employer in the hospitality industry for a position outside the US; be participants in an AIPT program; have an educational degree (Associate or Bachelor degree or ACF certification) from a hospitality/culinary school or program; have had at least 2 years of employment in the hospitality industry; and, be US citizens. Selection criteria: Selection shall be based on the merit, and not on the financial need. How to apply: Applicants must complete and submit a filled-out application form and must include two letters of reference, two copies of resume and a copy of school transcripts. They must also submit an essay of at least 500 words but not exceeding 1000 words, describing the applicant's motivation for participating in a practical work experience abroad; describing the skills that they expect to learn from their international work experience. Applicants must also include how they will apply the experience to their future endeavors upon return to the US. Focus: Management; Public relations.
