To support research that generates initial data leading to more extensive projects that will generate knowledge and will ultimately improve the healthcare of persons with epilepsy. Qualifications: Applicants must hold a relevant advanced degree; have completed all research training; and must be based at corporations as well as academic/university settings. Selection criteria: Applications are evaluated based on proposal's scientific validity; relevance to the program's goals and feasibility; applicant's qualifications and adequacy of the research. Grants will be awarded to applicants who have provided a clear justification based on need and timetable of the work proposed.
