To attract investigators to cystic fibrosis research. Qualifications: Applicant must hold an MD or PhD degree; must be sponsored by the chairman of the appropriate department and by the dean of the faculty; and has recently completed the training and wish to devote the majority of the time to cystic fibrosis research. Selection criteria: Selection is based on the caliber of the applicant's research and the potential of the applicant to make an outstanding contribution to cystic fibrosis research.
