GALAS Academic Scholarship
Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society
Award: $1,000
To help students of Armenian descent who are active in LGBTQ activism to pay for college. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate, graduate, trade school, certificate, or fellowship students of Armenian descent with a proven record of LGBTQ+ activism; must be currently enrolled at a U.S. university, community college, trade school, certificate, or fellowship program - or provide proof of enrollment/acceptance for the upcoming semester; must be studying at an institution located in the United States. (U.S. citizenship is not required.); previous recipients of Galas scholarships are not eligible to receive another scholarship. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria.
