Grand Haven Area Community Foundation

To support students graduating from Grand Haven area public schools who was assisted by an adult, mentor, or community member while completing high school. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from Grand Haven Area Public Schools, preferably from Central High School, who has demonstrated that they benefitted from an adult, community member, or mentor who assisted and supported them while they were working toward their high school diploma or GED; must be planning to pursue postsecondary education; must be a permanent resident of the greater Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Allendale, or Coopersville area in Michigan. Selection criteria: Selection is based on one or more of the following: special circumstances, financial need, academics, and/or leadership and community service. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must also submit a copy of high school or college transcript, any additional required documents, and Page 1 of the Student Aid Report with Student Aid Index (SAI) included on the form.
