David and Mary Race Vocational/Technical Scholarship

To support local students pursuing vocational education or training. Qualifications: Applicants must be Tri-Cities area high school students who graduated from or attended Careerline Tech Center or adult students enrolled in Thompson M-TEC; must be pursuing postsecondary education or training in vocational or technical fields. Selection criteria: Selection is based on one or more of the following: special circumstances, financial need, academics, and/or leadership and community service. One scholarship will also be awarded to an active duty member of the United States Coast Guard stationed in Grand Haven for additional educational training. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must also submit a copy of high school or college transcript, any additional required documents, and Page 1 of the Student Aid Report with Student Aid Index (SAI) included on the form.
