Lupita Reyes Scholarship

To provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Ottawa County, Michigan. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior of any Ottawa County, MI, area public school; must be planning to attend a two- or four-year college our university; must be a permanent resident of the greater Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Allendale, or Coopersville area in Michigan. Selection criteria: Selection is based on one or more of the following: special circumstances, financial need, academics, and/or leadership and community service. Preference given to an individual who is of Latin American origin, who demonstrates financial need, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and has demonstrated a passion for human rights and social justice and a commitment to applying this knowledge to their future career. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must also submit a copy of high school or college transcript, any additional required documents, and Page 1 of the Student Aid Report with Student Aid Index (SAI) included on the form.
