To offer financial opportunities for students of all backgrounds and can be granted to traditional and nontraditional students. Qualifications: Applicant must be a Grand Island graduating high school senior; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; also open to current college and nontraditional students who graduated from a Grand Island high school; must be attending a university/college/community college in Nebraska. Selection criteria: Community volunteers evaluate and score the applications. Preference given to applicants with physical disabilities.
