To assist a deserving high school senior who plans to attend a vocational or academic college. Qualifications: Applicant must be a current high school senior or a college student living with a documented disability; must be attending or planning to attend an undergraduate program at a 2 or 4 -year university/college or technical college in the fall of the upcoming academic year; educational institution must be in the United States. Selection criteria: Recipient will be selected on the basis of their essay and the supporting documentation. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; personal information, including full name, date of birth, mailing address and phone number; proof of enrollment which can be an enrollment certificate or transcript of applicants most recent GPA (GPA does not affect the selection.); medical documentation to prove the disability; an essay of minimum 500 words that speaks to applicants personal trials and triumphs in life related to applicants disability and how it has defined the person applicants are today; any supporting documents or letters of recommendations from teachers, mentors or advisers that applicants would like the selection committee to consider.
