To encourage original and significant research about women and/or gender that crosses disciplinary, regional, or cultural boundaries. Qualifications: Applicants must be Ph.D. candidates in the humanities or social sciences; must have completed all pre-dissertation requirements; must be enrolled in a graduate school in the United States; must be conducting research related to women, gender, women's studies, or feminist/gender/LGBTQ theory; must expect to complete their Ph.D. by summer. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria. How to apply: Application must be submit online includes: doctoral transcript; supplemental items (cover sheet, abstract, proposal, bibliography, timetable, personal statement, and C.V.), and two letters of recommendation. Focus: Women's studies.
