Award: $1,000
To support the pursuit of higher education in Jackson County. Qualifications: Applicants must be resident of Jackson County, Michigan; must graduating high school senior, previous recipient, student already enrolled in and taking undergraduate classes, returning learner, student planning to attend graduate school, student already enrolled in graduate school, or student enrolled in the Jackson College Prison Education Initiative who has completed at least; one semester and is housed in a Jackson County Corrections facility; enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in a medical profession; enrolled part or full-time; must cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Selection criteria: Interviews may be required at the discretion of the scholarship committee. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form. Focus: Health care services.
