Award: $2,500

To support students who are cancer survivors, or who have been impacted by cancer, and are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of Jackson County, Michigan; must be a graduating high school senior or graduating home-schooled student; must have lost a parent, stepparent, or legal guardian to cancer OR applicant is a cancer survivor; must have been accepted to an accredited two- or four-year college or university or trade school. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; applicants must submit at least one letter of recommendation describing how cancer has impacted their life. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
