Award: $1,500

To provide grants to health, human services, education, community development, the arts and other charitable organizations which benefit the citizens of Moline Foundations. Qualifications: Applicants must be Illinois Quad City Metro High School Senior; black Hawk College student who lives within Moline-Coal Valley School District 40 boundaries. Selection criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need. How to apply: Applications must be submit one letter of recommendation from someone who is not a family member (Teacher, Counselor, Coach, or Employer); include the recommender's email address; upload a PDF of the recommendation; must be 250 words personal essay. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
