To support distinguished graduate students in the humanities and social sciences who are writing their respective dissertations and conducting on-site researches outside the United States. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduate students in the Humanities and Social Sciences who are enrolled in a doctoral program in the United States and conducting a research outside the country; and must have completed all Ph.D. requirements except on-site dissertation research by the time the fellowship begins. Selection criteria: Prospected awardees shall be selected based on their proposals or on-site researches.
