To provide financial assistance for African American students pursuing their college education. Qualifications: Applicant must be African American Graduating Senior; Cumulative Grand Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale by February 1st in the year of graduation; must United States citizen. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic achievement, essay quality demonstrating understanding of African American trailblazers' contributions, and completeness of application materials.
