To provide for students interested in pursuing careers in the energy service industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be currently attending or planning to attend a technical college or trade school within the next 12 months; technicians currently pursuing licensing or other advanced education; pursuing applicants education in the HVAC-R or plumbing field; enrolled or planning to enroll in a program with an oil heat/Bio-Fuel course as part of applicants overall curriculum; students pursuing a two or four-year technical degree. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on evaluation committee. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include writing a 500-word essay that includes applicants educational background; a letter of recommendation from applicants HVAC or plumbing instructor or mentor; optional: a short (3-5 minutes or less) personal video. Focus: Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
