To encourage students who are pursuing education in the fields of aerospace engineering and aeronautical systems maintenance engineering. Qualifications: Applicants must be full-time undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or senior students enrolled in the aerospace engineering or aeronautical systems maintenance engineering major at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; must be U.S. citizens; and must have grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Selection criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial need. How to apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; an official transcript of record; a 250-word, typed, double-spaced essay describing the applicant's interest in and goals for a career in the business aviation industry; two letters of recommendation from an Embry-Riddle faculty member who is familiar with the applicant's capabilities; and current resume.
