To support community from the host state of California who has been a manager for two years or less and is demonstrating outstanding potential to improve his or her team’s performance. Qualifications: Applicants must be the child support community from the Leadership Symposium host state who has been a manager for two years or less and is demonstrating outstanding potential to improve his or her team's performance. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application; should include statement (500 words) on how the applicant would utilize information and networking gained in the course of attending the Leadership Symposium, including how he/she would then share that information upon return to the agency. In addition to the statement, the applicant's supervisor is required to submit a letter of recommendation as well as a statement. Focus: Leadership, Institutional and community.
