To support an outstanding Italian American incoming freshman, undergraduate or graduate student. Qualifications: Students must have a GPA of 3.5 (or the equivalent) or higher; preference is given to students with a permanent residence in Florida who are not receiving other financial aid; must have an active NIAF Membership; NIAF memberships are valid for one year from the date of registration; Students may use their parent, guardian or grandparent’s membership; be enrolled in a US accredited institution of higher education on a full time basis for the Fall current year semester; have a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0; be a United States Citizen or permanent resident alien; have Italian American ancestry; be considered Italian American, the student must have at least one ancestor who has immigrated from Italy. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic merit & financial need.
