To provide financial assistance to students and educators pursuing restaurant-related studies and training. Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted as a full time or part time undergraduate student at a post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year; majoring in an undergraduate level restaurant, foodservice or hospitality related program; plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive undergraduate terms or on track to complete an undergraduate degree within one term; unrelated to any employees or family members of the national restaurant association, NRAEF, or a state restaurant association; possess a previous undergraduate or graduate degree and are now pursuing a degree in hospitality, applicants are still eligible to apply; past scholarships recipients can reapply each year they are in school. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form. Focus: Culinary arts; Food science and technology; Food service careers; Hotel, institutional, and restaurant management.
