To assist graduating high school seniors who have been accepted at a college or vocational school. Qualifications: Applicants must be student's parents or guardians must be a member in good standing of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association for the year (season) of application. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee all applications and make its award based upon academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community service and the quality of the original essay submitted with each application. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; essay pdf, doc or docx formats. applicants have the option of mailing these supporting documents within seven (7) days of submitting online application to NHSA, 600 Laconia RD, Suite 2, Tilton, NH 03276 or email to the office; an official High School or College transcript, which ever applies. (Last 12 months); current recommendations in writing by at least two (2) teachers dated and signed; current recommendations in writing by one or two friends, employers or clergy, dated and signed; proof of acceptance at the listed college, university or vocational school; Write a 500 or fewer word essay about snowmobiling in applicants state (economy, trails, environment, or what snowmobiling means to you); include an overview of applicants extra-curricular activity and any snowmobile associated volunteerism within the last year.
