To provide who are seriously interested in pursuing a career in business and financial journalism. Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled undergraduate or graduate journalism students in the tri-state New York area; applicants must already be attending school, or must have graduated within the previous 1 2 months of applying. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit applications; should include the requirements; school, division, major and expected graduation date; present address and permanent home address (if different), telephone number; any other relevant personal information; an essay explaining why applicants are pursuing a career in business and financial journalism; current resume, including other scholarships received; samples of financial writing (3 to 5 pieces) including links to online work and print clippings in PDF format. Focus: Business; Finance; Journalism.
