Qualifications: Applicants must be scholars of American Indian heritage; graduate students must be ABD by the application deadline; must live outside Chicago; must demonstrate a specific need for the Newberry collection; must be either US citizens or foreign nationals who have been in the US for three years. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on reviewed by an interdisciplinary committee of scholars from a broad spectrum of fields and periods.
