To support North Carolina students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or professional degrees in medicine, science, law, and education fields. Qualifications: Applicant must be a student from Andrews, NC, who has attended a Cherokee County High School and will attend a four-year accredited college or university at the undergraduate or professional/graduate level; must be preparing for a professional career in medicine, dentistry, nursing, engineering, or other science, teaching, or law fields. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on students study If no qualified candidate from Andrews is found, preference will be given to Cherokee County students, and then to students from the seven western most counties of NC (Haywood, Jackson, Swain, Macon, Clay. and Graham). How to apply: Application must be submitted through the NCCF Online Portal. Applicant must create an account and then follow all instructions for applying for scholarship.
