To support graduating seniors from Hoke County who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Hoke County high school who has been accepted and plans to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited institution of higher learning. Selection criteria: Preference is given to applicants attending certain institutions in the following order: 1. NC A&T University; 2. any institution in North Carolina; 3. any institution in the United States. Financial need, involvement in community service and volunteer work, involvement in extracurricular activities, and pursuing a degree in the education field will also be taken into consideration. How to apply: Application must be submitted through the NCCF Online Portal. Applicant must create an account and then follow all instructions for applying for scholarship. Applicant will need to provide an email for their high school counselor, email addresses for references, and completed FAFSA. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
