To support students pursuing degrees in nutrition, especially natural foods and the vegetarianism. Qualifications: Applicants must be students who attended high school in Macon County North Carolina or any one or more of the counties in the far western part of North Carolina (Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Swain, Macon, Jackson, Haywood, Madison, Buncombe, and Henderson counties); must be pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degrees in the field of nutrition with a focus on the study of natural foods and a the vegetarian lifestyle. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic merit and financial need, with preference given to students from Macon County. How to apply: Application must be submitted through the NCCF Online Portal. Applicant must create an account and then follow all instructions for applying for scholarship. Focus: Nutrition; Vegetarianism.
