To provide scholarships to nursing students. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduating seniors from a Currituck County high school; must plan to attend a qualified institution of higher learning including community college, college, university or trade school; must demonstrate financial need; must be in good academic standing; preference given to African American students. Selection criteria: Preference is given to applicants who are residents or employees of Macon County. Selection is based on academic and leadership ability along with financial need.
