To support graduating seniors from Wilkes County who wish to pursue postsecondary studies in the University of North Carolina system or Wilkes Community College. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school student from any Wilkes County, NC, public high school who plans to attend one of the 16 campuses of the University of North Carolina system, or Wilkes Community College; must have a minimum 3.2 GPA; must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Preference may be given to applicants pursuing degrees in education and/or who are members of the United Methodist Church of North Wilkesboro, NC. How to apply: Application must be submitted through the NCCF Online Portal. Applicant must create an account and then follow all instructions for applying for scholarship. Applicant will need to provide an email for their high school counselor, email addresses for references, and completed FAFSA. Focus: Education; General studies/Field of study not specified.
