To support Edgecombe County graduating seniors who are planning to attend a college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduates, graduates, medical and professional school students and adult re-entry students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities, career/technical schools, teaching credential programs and graduate, medical or professional schools in the United States are eligible for scholarships offered at NCCF; must graduating senior from an Edgecombe County high school who has been accepted at a college, community college, university or other qualified institution of higher learning and plans to attend the following fall semester or earlier, if applicable. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee include high character, pleasing personality, the ability for cooperation and leadership as exemplified by the student’s school life and association with fellow students; financial need will be considered but is not required. How to apply: Applications must be submitted through the NCCF Online Portal. Applicant must create an account and then follow all instructions for applying for scholarship. Applicant will need to provide an email for their high school counselor, email addresses for references, and completed FAFSA. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
