Award: $2,500

To encourage and support Native American students who are interested in pursuing STEM degrees and continuing their education beyond their current enrollment in community college. Qualifications: Applicants must be citizens of the United States who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at a tribal or public two-year or four-year institution of higher education in North Dakota; degree program should be in or related to the areas of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on: Academic excellence (a minimum GPA of 3.00 is required); Relevance of the student's discipline and interests to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form along with two letters of recommendation (at least one from a faculty member). Focus: Engineering; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Science; Technology.
