North Texas Relocation Professionals

To support students enrolled in a Dallas/Fort Worth area accredited high school in pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must currently be a senior in good standing in a north Texas area accredited high school; must have relocated between grades 9 and 12; must have relocated more than 50 miles and changed schools due to their family's relocation; currently have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent achievement on a different scale). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the strength of their total package; evaluated on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and on their response to an essay addressing the way they handled the challenges associated with relocating to a new area and a new high school. How to apply: Applicants must submit on online form; should include transcripts or test score copies; essay or video; letter of recommendation on official letterhead by a school official (counselor, teacher, coach, etc.) from current school; unofficial transcript and ACT/SAT scores; include signed scholarship release waiver (students under 18 must have a parent signature as well).
