To provide support for students, programs, and activities that enhance the quality of education and expand the educational opportunities for students enrolled at Northwest- Shoals Community College. Qualifications: Applicants must have 2.5 GPA; full-time status, continuous enrollment; college service graduate with desire to further education at NWSCC who may not qualify for financial assistance. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on NW-SCC foundation scholarship committee. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include: personal essay - the essay should be 1 page (double spaced) in length; must be uploaded as a PDF file; letter of recommendation - at least 1 recommendation letter from a non-family member; transcripts - high school transcripts and transcripts from all colleges previously attended are required. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
